PASSION

In the late 70's, my older riding friends taught me the ropes for camping with horses and showing. A decade later I sat blissfully with these friends, perched on a high cliff in the Missouri Ozarks. As I gazed in awe over the winding Big Piner River, and the distant ridges and valleys below, it was then that I knew I wanted to pay this gift forward to others, this incredible high on life I get from horses. For those of you who have long desired to own a horse but don't know how to achieve it safely, I am here for you.

What my clients have to say

I absolutely love this woman. I met her on a large group ride when my horses balked a a creek crossing and 20 people were staring at me and waiting! I was ready to throw in the towel and sell this horse but Susan got off her horse and took the time to train my horse to cross. She has since turned this anxious stubborn horse into a trustworthy well-behaved partner. My horse still has loads of “go” but she is safe and never balks.

Susan has helped me tremendously with a young colt, as well as my older horse! I love her techniques which she learned from Chris Irwin. She is a certified trainer under Chris Irwin. A gentle approach that’s very effective!

I audited Susan’s clinic last weekend at Big Fork Campground in Allardt, TN. I was so impressed by the results achieved from one day’s work with the horses. It was amazing! Susan was so patient with the participants and gave each one individual, personalized attention. On the second day you could really see the improvements in both horse and owner. I look forward to participating in one of her clinics with my horse. Would love for Susan to have a clinic in the Spruce Creek area of Jamestown, TN.
